About Reiny
Words are our power. They can cut like a knife, comfort like a hug, and change the minds of the masses. I have built a life and career dedicated to the weaving of words. Words are spells.
My professional career began behind a microphone, making people laugh, sparking conversation, and conducting interviews on the radio. My jobs in radio brought my words and voice to the ears of millions of people during their morning or afternoon commute, while cooking meals, or just in the background while doing chores.
My love for storytelling was born while I experimented with audio production in high school and I quickly learned that stories are the foundation of our cultural knowledge and human connection. Stories are spells.
In 2014 I followed my body compass into a new career where stories were used to make political change. My advocacy work spans many issue areas from affordable housing to LGBTQ+ justice, to tax reform. I help regular people share their personal stories with lawmakers, guide organizations as they tell the story of their work, and build public narratives so that progressive candidates, campaigns, and policies can win. Laws are spells.
Leadership work is lifetime work, and burnout is the curse that we all must break at some point. My personal and professional experience is culminating here where I am teaching clients how to break the curses that are holding them back, or pushing them out of leadership work all together. Teaching ancient wisdom in new ways to those who feel it in their bones that change work doesn’t have to be limiting, draining, or difficult.
I read tarot, I teach spellwork, and I tell the story of Lead like a Witch. I’m guided by my core values of intuition, joy, integrity, connection, and magic. I am following in the path of my teachers Kristen Knapick, Heather Weiner, Anat Shenker-Osorio, Bex Lauffler, Riot Addams, and Ella Andrews. Each has taught me how to create meaningful change in my personal and professional life. I am who I am because of everything I’ve experienced and the shadow work I’ve done to arrive here, coupled with the joy and magic I’ve created for myself along the way.
Our words, our stories, our spells are breaking cycles and building new ways to create progressive change.
