Leadership M.A.G.I.C. ends your burnout.
Have you forgotten what it feels like to be energized by your work? Are you currently ruled by your calendar, uninspired and spinning your wheels? Tired? You are burned out.
Leadership M.A.G.I.C. is a nine-week course for mission-driven professionals who want to rise from the ashes of burnout and reclaim their creative fire.
Across the nine weeks you’ll be guided by the ancient myth of Baba Yaga and Vasilisa the Wise, a girl who ventures into the unknown to reclaim her life-force.
Each week you’ll receive an excerpt from the story paired with a video and a lesson to guide you on your path of transformation.
On Tuesday afternoons, we’ll meet on zoom as a cohort for coaching sessions and group rituals.
As you are guided on the path of transformation you will:
Reconnect with and sharpen your intuition.
Identify your core values and learn how to use them to guide your leadership.
Confront the patriarchy’s “story of normal” and how it dictates your decision-making in violation of your core values.
Break the curse of burnout by writing a new story for how you lead, guided by your core values, your intuition, and your newly ignited creative fire.

This burnout has to stop.
If burnout is hurting you and it’s not getting better, it’s not your fault. Burnout among women, queer and non-binary leaders is epidemic and it isn’t an accident. It’s built-in.
Burnout is a curse perpetuated by capitalism, colonialism, and the patriarchy.
It extinguishes our internal fire and leaves us too exhausted to be the leaders that our organizations and missions count on us to be. Witches know how to break curses: with a ritual journey that has been passed down for hundreds of years. And we know how to return to wholeness, with tools you can use every day, and spells that reconnect you to the power and confidence that is truly yours.
The journey is simple.
1. Join the Circle
Sign up for our January 2026 course and join a cohort of up to 12 others. They are your circle of caring and committed leaders who will do deep work alongside you. You’ll be together in weekly zoom meetings for coaching and rituals. And, you’ll share your journey with each other in between meetings in a WhatsApp chat just for you. 2. Follow the Path.
Your journey begins with a 1:1 coaching session with Ella who will help you define your goals and chart your path. With each of the nine lessons you’ll take clear, simple steps guided by story excerpts and worksheets. Lessons are self-paced (less than an hour per week) and completed ahead of each week's group ritual and coaching. Ella will guide you through it all.
3. Lead like a Witch.
Your personal magic is the key to breaking the curse of burnout and rising as a newly empowered, confident, intuitive leader. By the end of this journey you’ll have internalized ancient wisdom and forged new tools to guide your decision-making and leadership style. You will be in control of your time and energy, having written a new story of how you want to work. Guided by your intuition and rooted in your power, you are now leading like a Witch.

Meet your shadow
Your shadow is a source of power, and when you meet it, you are emboldened. You begin to break the curse of burnout that is colonizing your sense of self by setting a transformative intention, then confronting the parts of you that tell you your dreams are not possible. You’ll learn how to work with your shadow and apply that power so that you are leading as your whole, authentic self.
Activate your values
You identify your values and learn to lead from your instinctual core. You’ll create your values star, a unique somatic tool that allows your body to be your compass. With this tool, you now make aligned decisions easily, in-the-moment, and without guilt. Your somatic power becomes a spell of liberation.
Give your unique gifts
The gifts you have to give to the world are being suppressed by capitalism's relentless grind. Breaking the curse of burnout means identifying the gifts that you uniquely bring to the world and using them in your leadership. Rather than your gifts being extracted from you by a system designed to break you, you now offer your gifts only to those who deserve to benefit from what you as an individual bring to your work and life.
Increase belonging
You deserve to feel with your body that you are enough, you are powerful, and you belong. Working with the elements of earth, air, fire, and water, this step includes a ritual that seals this feeling in your bones and you begin to rise again with powerful new tools and rituals of your own to carry into your work and keep your internal flame lit.
Create effective rituals
You complete the journey having claimed a life rhythm that feels spacious, creative, and calm. Your rituals include rest and reflection. Your work and life are fueled by joy and it's infectious to others. You are visible, powerful, and now you share your magic with your community.

Over nine weeks, you’ll spend
30 min to an hour a week on solo spell work and reflection.
90 minutes each week with your cohort for rituals and connection.
Plus your 1:1 meeting with Ella to start your journey strong.
How much time will this take?
Personal Coaching: Your journey begins with a 1:1 session with Ella, who will help you crystalize a leadership goal designed to spark big, affirming change.
Short Lessons: Each week begins with a short video and story worksheet. These exercises have been tried and tested by more than 50 leaders at multiple public, non-profit, and for-profit institutions. They are simple and powerful and take less than an hour.
Powerful Rituals and Coaching: Once a week, we’ll meet for rituals or group coaching. These sessions are where you’ll connect with your cohort, receive support and do transformative rituals that advance your journey at the soul level.
Connection: Tackle questions, develop connections, and share struggles and successes in your cohort WhatsApp group.

Your guide
Ella is a certified coach who has helped hundreds of leaders grow into grounded confidence. In over 30 years of experience, her clients have included local governments, congressional and legislative campaigns, elected officials, national and local non-profits and foundations.
Ella is initiated in the Reclaiming tradition of witchcraft and been studying witchcraft for more than 30 years. She has led rituals for hundreds of singing witches deep in the woods and thousands of progressive leaders (who couldn’t put their finger on why her meetings are so powerful.) She is obsessed with tarot and uses it nearly every day to ground and reconnect with her intuition and the pulse of magic that underlies all.
Her unique combination of political experience and wise intuition, practical tools and ancient witchcraft come together in her guidance of this program.
